Server Update 12w38b

The say command did not work so Mojang made 12w38b. Some of the update's features are:

• /say command works again
• Updated sound engine and added minecart sound effects
• Various other sound effect changes
• A few tweaks to the witch mob

1.Open the start menu (click on the home button)

2.Type %appdata%/.minecraft/bin (or copy and paste it in)

3.Then look for the jar file named ''minecraft'' and delete it

4.Replace it with the file below (12w38b)

The Witch

This new mob comes in the new update 12w38a!

It has 26 health which can regenerate like the player's health.
The witch can be spawned by an egg.

A witch on death could drop:

0-6 Stick
0-6 Glowstone Dust
0-6 Redstone Dust
0-6 Water Bottle
0-6 Glass Bottle
0-6 Spider Eye
0-6 Gunpowder
0-6 Sugar

Some of the rare drops are:

Potion of Fire Resistance
Potion of Healing
Potion of Swiftness

Will also drop 5 Experience Orbs.

Server Update 12w38a

Minecraft Client 12w38a
Mojang has recently add a new update, 12w38a. This update is not compatible with update 12w37a so you will need to update your minecraft client version in order to go on the server!

This update's features include:

Updated and added new sounds by C418

Added a neutral mob

Added a hostile mob (doesn’t spawn yet)

Command block target parameters have been upgraded

Beacon artwork has changed

Wood trunk blocks are now rotated differently. Instead of using the player’s position, it will rotate based on the face it is placed upon. This is mainly a test, so feedback is welcomed, but for me personally this way is a bit easier.

To download follow the instructions below.

1.Open the start menu (click on the home button)

Blood Wars

For those who don't know what Blood Wars is, then read this post!


Blood Wars is a run on game of ''Hunger Games'' except that the rules are different.
In Blood Wars the object of the game is to kill the other player and grief their house or whatever they created! If they did not create anything, then the player can just kill them and steal whatever they are holding at the time. The creation can either be destroyed or can be used for the winning player's own purpose. The players can not grief a creation created by an op (example: griefing a neighborhood).
All ops are not in the game unless they are in survival mode and will not be in creative during the war. Players may get resources from the wild but they cannot take alot of resources in one area for the purpose of changing the world's natural look.

So come and build a big castle that has everything you always wanted!

Update 12w36a (1.4 pre-release)

If you can't access the server because you have an outdated version of minecraft, then read more!

Mojang has recently released a new update (update 1.4 pre-release) for minecraft which is also being used by this server. Some of the features are listed down below:

• A new scary decoration block
• The “secret” from previous snapshots is now spawnable
• A new mob variant in the Nether
• Minor changes to the leather dyeing (the colors will attempt to maintain intensity and not dilute as much)
• The “work in progress block” is now called “Beacon” and can be crafted
• Carrot on a stick!
• Bug fixes

To update your minecraft you will need to first download the file containing it.

Then, if you are running Windows 7 you will first open the start menu.
Type in %appdata%/.minecraft/bin then hit enter.
Delete the jar file called minecraft (some of you may have it named as minecraft.jar).
Save the jar file into the folder.
Then run minecraft! :)

Free to Build

We have decided to allow all players to build whatever they want wherever they want for free. The no griefing rule only applies to the hotel airplane, the neighborhood near the spawn, the mall and cafe, and the lighthouse. Other than the things listed, you may grief the creations other players created. No griefing with tnt. Building a creation automatically adds you to the blood war.
